This allowed him to create a revolutionary clear, dry and aromatic rum for the very first time – BACARDÍ Carta Blanca. It also ensures that no single flavour can dominate the final taste, a key to its legendary mixability.

Are all BACARDÍ Expressions Charcoal-filtered?

Yes, however, our master rum makers, the Maestros de Ron BACARDÍ will use different recipes and combinations of charcoal depending on the flavour profile of the rum they are blending.

What’s the Difference Between White Rum and Rum?

White rum is rum. Some rums are clear, gold, dark or spiced and the difference in colour, aroma and flavour comes from the process used to make them.
