WATER POSITIVE
OUR WATER INITIATIVES
We’ve made an exciting start on our journey to becoming water positive. We’re recycling water, giving back to local communities, reducing our own consumption, and doing everything we can to protect this precious resource. Keep reading to check out what we’ve achieved so far!
our PROGRESS
We aim to reduce water consumption by 25% to make our processes as sustainable as possible.
Of the water we use in our products, we aim to give 50% of it back through replenishment.
We’re committed to becoming net positive in water usage by 2030, using sustainable practices and helping to keep our lakes full to benefit Puerto Rico.
El Salvador’s Water 10 project provides clean water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education to surrounding communities, helping over 600 people.
Our water treatment plant has the capacity to treat 70,000 gallons of domestic water per day, to be reused again in our distillery and fermentation process.
We reached out to partner bars to use alternative materials such as glass, metal, paper and even pasta as straws.
As part of BIER, our Charco Bendito project has replenished 380,000+ cubic meters of water and given 250+ people access to clean water in Tlajomulco, Mexico.

REDUCING WATER CONSUMPTION
We’re aiming to reduce our water consumption by 25% and to give back 50% of all the water used in our products. Looking even further than that, we’ve set a goal to be water positive by 2030, embracing responsible usage and nurturing a sustainable future for our business and the environment. Keep your eyes peeled to see us reach our goal!
EL SALVADOR
WhaT WE DO
Did you know that our treatment plant has the capacity to treat around 70,000 gallons of water per day? We’re really proud to treat domestic waters using a system that reaches a quality limit, allowing us to reuse the water in other cooling systems – like the distillery, fermentation, and the treatment plant itself.
desalination
The MISSION
Our passion for sustainability runs deep, and we’re committed to becoming net positive in water usage by 2030. Our goal is to ensure our water usage is responsible and to help keep the lakes in Puerto Rico full. Part of this responsibility involves exploring desalination as a potential part of our process.
Water is all around us, we make sure to take care of it and work towards a process free from water waste.
